"First I would never recommend State Farm and suggest if you're considering them to think twice about it. They may give you a good quote, but they will do everything in their power to avoid paying out on a claim. In my case, my chimney took a lightning strike which destroyed it and the surrounding roof. State Farm asked me to get estimates on the Chimney as it is a custom home and they had no way to estimate it. They never told me what they would pay for the roof so gave them estimates for that as well. Never heard back for a while, then one day got a standard form letter which says the claim can be repaired for under the deductable amount - so good luck and good bye. Seriously? No feedback on what number they came up with or why, no dialogue with me or my contractors, and no basis for their assessment. I have never seen anything like this (Texas Farm bureau is the best to work with) and have asked Jim/Cindy to sort the mess out. Depending on how they respond, I'll update this review. But for now, stay away from State Farm at all costs."

When I FINALLY got Candace to return my email and call, she said she made an error. I emailed back and asked her to confirm rates on other vehicles. Still no response.
